Shakespeare and Slam Poetry – the power of recreating | Emma Elisabeth Holtet | TEDxAarhus

In this funny and thought provoking talk from TEDxAarhus, 2019, Emma Elisabeth Holtet shares her fascination with the power of spoken word and how all creation is in some ways a recreation of that which came before.
Slam Poetry is a brilliant performance format for a restless individual – within each short performance, you can be whoever you want to be. After discovering Poetry Slam and having performed for only a year Emma Elisabeth Holtet became “Aarhus Poetry Slam Champion” and later won the 2019 “English Poetry Slam Copenhagen Cup”. She is a trained performer from The London School of Dramatic Arts, and Bachelor of Arts from Copenhagen University.
