Jessica Hunter and Clellie Laws are two mothers who found themselves in the crossroads of one child’s life. They share how they each had to ask what was best for him and leave behind their own selfish feelings. They began a co-parenting journey that is a model worth spreading. I am a fun-loving energetic woman that loves to spend time with my two amazing children whenever I can. I’ve lived an unimaginably painful life and come out of it a powerhouse. I found my recovery in helping others with their sobriety. I’ve had the privilege of being a Recovery Coach for Family Treatment Court. Not only have I been able to touch the lives of others, but in doing so, I have learned more about myself. I believe that love can change the world, and I want to be a part of that change.
Love is abundant in my crazy amazing family of nine. My husband and I have joined together and created a mixed family of seven kids. We have a yours, mine, ours, and the neighbor’s kind of life, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. I am constantly learning and growing as my children raise me into the kind of parent they need. Through patience and love I am able to put my ego aside and jointly parent in a unique way for the good of my children.
