A winner isn’t just a person who consistently works hards and delivers results. A winner is a lot more than just that. It is about perseverance, humility, honor and most importantly undying belief in oneself. It’s never about being knocked out, but whether you can bounce back up. Listen for yourself from the horse’s mouth, ex- Indian Hockey Team Captain, Sandeep Singh. Recognized with the Arjuna Award in 2010, Sandeep Singh is a legendary hockey player who represented India in the 2012 Olympic games where he scored the highest number of goals in the qualifiers. He is known around the world as the fastest drag-flickers of all time with drag speeds of over 145 km/hr which earned him the nickname – ‘Flicker Singh’. He has also led India to victory in many international tournaments. After an accident, he was partially paralysed and spent close to 2 years in a wheel chair.
